Nam-gu Daehangno Playground near Pukyong National University
Street performances have been held here since 2012, and with an increasing number of visitors the street has gained the current name "Nam-gu Daehangno Playground," which nods at its location near the university. Every Friday this area gets into the festive mood with performances by local art groups and amateur artists. On weekends flea markets are held and visitors can shop from various vendors including social enterprises and college students.
Gunam-ro Area by Haeundae Beach
Gunam-ro is the 30-m wide and 490-m long road extending from Haeundae metro station to Haeundae Beach, one of the city’s most popular beaches. In the middle of the four-lane road is a 13-m wide strip with sculptures and outdoor stages for busking and art markets. The busking zone has two stages for music performances and one for others. Use is free of charge but prior registration is required.

Haneulyeon Theatre is a mid-sized theatre with 841 seats, featuring the world’s best stage performances. Also, it boasts its high-tech equipment for screening all genres of movies.
BIFF Theatre in Busan Cinema Center
Biff Theater, an outdoor theater, is one of the main three buildings constituting the Busan Cinema Center which is a complex cultural space specializing in cinema. With a capacity of 4,000 seats, BIFF Theatre is reminiscent of the Great Lawn of Central Park, New York and the Verona Arena in Italy. The venue holds film screenings as well as performances from various genres that include classical music, opera, musicals, plays, and Korean traditional Gukak.
